Who we are

StockFlow is a Shopify embedded app for inventory operations (stocktake, reorder, purchase orders, and receiving). This page is a privacy copy placeholder for App Store review and merchant communication. Replace contact details before public listing.

Data we store

We store data needed to run inventory operations for the installing shop: Shopify shop domain, shop name, currency, timezone, locations, a catalog cache (products, variants, SKUs, barcodes, available quantities), stocktakes and counts, reorder rules, suppliers, purchase orders, receiving sessions, billing plan cache, CSV import rows, audit logs, and product analytics events (for example app installed or onboarding completed).

Access tokens are stored in server-side session storage. They are not sent to the browser or written to logs.

Customer personal data

StockFlow is not a customer CRM and does not need protected customer data for its core workflow. We do not store end-customer names, addresses, or order PII to operate stocktake, reorder, POs, or receiving.

Shopify privacy webhooks are implemented: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact. Shop uninstall and shop/redact remove the merchant’s StockFlow records for that shop.

Why we process this data

We process shop and inventory data to provide the app the merchant installed: authenticate with Shopify, sync catalog and locations, count stock, suggest reorders, create POs, receive inventory, enforce plan limits, and keep an audit trail of inventory-changing actions.

Sharing

We send inventory adjustments to Shopify when a merchant applies a stocktake or confirms receiving. We do not sell merchant data. Hosting, database, and Shopify API subprocessors used in production should be listed here before launch.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the app is installed and as needed for audit of inventory writes. Merchants can uninstall the app. shop/redact deletes the shop’s StockFlow data. For a deletion request, email support.
