Creating a stocktake
Count a location, then review differences before Shopify is updated.
Choose a location and scope
Open Stocktake and create a count for one Shopify location. Scan-as-you-go counts only the barcodes you scan. A filtered count can limit the list by vendor, product type, or search.
Give the stocktake a name you will recognize later, such as “Front shop opening count”. Free includes two stocktakes per month and 250 SKUs.
Count, then review
Scan a barcode or enter a SKU. You can add one, set an exact quantity, or type a count if the camera is unavailable. Progress is saved on the server so you can resume if the browser closes.
When the count is done, open Review. StockFlow shows expected Shopify quantity, counted quantity, and the difference. Nothing is written to Shopify until you apply adjustments on a paid plan.
